My Handbag Skincare Hack

Travel Hacks

I’m loyal to one tiny hero: travel dispensers. They let me carry my real skincare in small bottles that fit in my handbag. Facewash, moisturizer, sunscreen, everything done. No more giant tubes. No more hotel minis that break me out.

This started on a flight when carry-on rules wouldn’t let my full sizes through. I poured everything into a small set, clicked them shut, and sailed past security. Since then, I use them all the time.

They also help me test new products. If my sister buys a serum or a foundation, I take a little, pop it into a dispenser, try it for a few days, then wash it out. If I love it, I buy the full size. If not, no money wasted.

Why I think everyone needs a set:

  • Saves space and weight in your bag
  • Follows airport liquid limits
  • Keeps your routine the same on trips
  • Great for testing new products
  • Easy to clean and refill

Quick tips:

  • Label each bottle (cleanser, SPF, etc.)
  • Pick leak-proof lids
  • Keep a pump, a spray, and a squeeze—covers everything

If you travel or just live out of a tote, get a set. Keep one always packed, and use the other for testing. Your skin stays happy, your bag stays light, and security won’t stop you.
